Neither Costco nor Sam’s Club sells cars. Your club’s auto program gets you member pricing, and we take care of the rest here in Venice: the test drive, the paperwork, your trade-in and your financing.

- Register online first to get an authorization code and a referral to an Approved Dealer. At the dealership, an Authorized Dealer Contact shows you your Costco Member-Only Price Sheet. Costco Auto Program states that this price will never exceed MSRP.

Sam’s Club Auto Buying Program

Costco Auto Program doesn’t provide financing, and neither club sells vehicles, so your loan or lease is arranged with our finance team. You can start the application online before you come in.

Can I use my club membership on a Chevrolet?
Yes. Chevrolet is one of the brands you can shop through both the Costco Auto Program and the Sam’s Club Auto Buying Program. Start on your club’s program site, then finish the purchase with the dealership.
Do I have to negotiate the Costco price?
No. Costco Auto Program calls its prearranged price no-haggle and says it will never exceed MSRP. Taxes, fees and any addendum items can still change the out-the-door total, so review the full breakdown before you sign.
Is the Sam’s Club price fixed?
No. The Sam’s Club Auto Buying Program, powered by TrueCar, shows a personalized price from the dealer and adds member-only discounts when you sign in. Each dealer sets its own pricing, and you confirm the final numbers at the dealership.
Can I lease instead of buying?
With Costco Auto Program, yes. Its prearranged price applies whether you lease or buy. If you’re shopping through Sam’s Club, ask our team about lease options on the vehicle you priced.
Does a car count toward my Costco 2% Executive reward?
No. Costco Auto Program says the 2% Executive Member Reward only applies to merchandise bought in the warehouse or on Costco.com.
What should I bring to the dealership?
Bring your membership card, your driver’s license and your program details. If you’re using a Costco member incentive certificate, the member named on it has to be there. Trading in? Bring the title or your loan payoff information too.
